  3.     ²Hi there!² Here's a tiny article concearning the decrease of
  4. releases. Very few groups release anything but intros (³like us?²) and then
  5. maybe some stuff at partys. Especially old groups are getting lazier day by
  6. day. ³Are the legends gonna die ²? No. Well, at least I hope not..

  8.     As ¹modems² are becoming more and more common, the competition is
  9. greater than ever before. Everybody wants to be the fastest, trainers are
  10. released only a couple of hours after the crack etc. And ¹nobody² is interested
  11. in coding a demo. Well, don't get me wrong, I have ³NOTHING² against modems, I'm just
  12. saying that the scene is changing a lot nowadays, and maybe it's not
  13. getting better at all (³This is the way I feel!²).

  15.     Sure, there are still people working on demos, and demos are
  16. better than ever before. But I can't deny the fact that I'd rather see more
  17. demos with maybe a lower quality, than just a couple of good ones every
  18. third month or so. Ok, maybe things aren't  ³that² bad, but I hope ya got my
  19. point.

  22.     Many elites are working for ³software houses², and don't have the
  23. time nor the inspiration to code any 'stupid' demos. Then there are also
  24. those who want to earn money, by selling games etc. ¹FUCK THEM!² It's
  25. because of the people who sell games, that many software companies don't
  26. want to have anything to do with guys active in the scene. There ³aren't²
  27. many dudes over here in Finland that are '³in²' the software business. I feel
  28. that the scene in Finland is ³one of the worst². There aren't many elite
  29. teams, and the gap between the Finns and the ³real elite² is getting bigger
  30. all the time. But what should be done?!

  33.     The elite coders ¹only² want to earn money and that's probably why
  34. there aren't many good releases between the partys. The ³Crusaders² &
  35. ³Deadline² party is going to be a huge success, with lots of people around. Big
  36. partys are cool, as long as there's something to do. Those who visited the
  37. ³Anarchy Easter Conf.² in Nykoping, know what I mean. Another interesting
  38. fact is that I've come to the conclusion that ³the Swedes² spend
  39. more time in front of their computers than the Finns. This is just how I
  40. feel, I'm maybe wrong, but in average I think it's true. That's maybe why
  41. there are more elite groups in Sweden! ³
